"If you like golf" or want a base for "exploring in the mid-Cape", particularly if you're traveling with children, this "family-oriented" resort in Brewster with a "pleasant setting overlooking Cape Cod Bay" is a solid choice; the "grounds are lovely" and there are tons of activities for the youngsters, but if you're not en famille, the "pools teaming with screaming kids" may not appeal; N.B. a significant renovation post-Survey may outdate some scores.

I've been to Ocean's Edge back in the 80's, and it still remains a beautiful place to be in the fall. There is still plenty to do and see without children. The suite was very spacious and more like a home away from home.

I did not like the fact that we did not have access to the resort's private beach.

Overall my wife, children, and I enjoyed our stay at the resort. The main amenity that we used was the Reef pool. The grounds of the resort were in good condition and most of the staff were helpful and friendly. The only drawback is that the "Villa" part of the resort should not be called Ocean Edge, due to the lack of access to the resort's beach. ...read more

Great beach, loved having a kitchen and washer/dryer, great staff.

The bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked. We had a water leak in the living room.

The grounds are stunning. The staff is wonderful. I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the shower. Also, the carpet was wet around the sliding glass door. They did put a de-humidifier near the area to help with the smell. Overall, we loved the resort and would
